Board Certified Pathologist

Carlos Torres, MD is board certified in Anatomic Pathology by The American Board of Pathology. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the Institute of Technology Medical School. Dr. Torres completed residency training in Anatomic Pathology at Barnes Hospital-Washington University. He also completed an Oncologic Surgical Pathology Fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and a Gastrointestinal and Liver/Pancreas Pathology Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital-Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Medical Pathology Associates, Dr. Torres was an instructor at Harvard Medical School and an Assistant Professor and Director of the Gastrointestinal Pathology Division at The University of Texas Health Science Center-Hermann Hospital.
